Shipping within New Zealand will be part subsidised by Blitz Surf Shop and will only be $6 per item up to 2kgs in weight for normal delivery addresses, further fees may apply for larger items. There is free shipping within New Zealand on purchases over $100, excluding surfboards up to 7 feet long, which will also have shipping part subsidised and you will be charged just $30 for these items in the North Island ($50 for South Island deliveries). Please get in touch with us first before purchasing one of these larger items online to organise freight. Longboards and SUPs will usually be freighted with Mainfreight, depot to depot, as our normal provider will only take surfboards to 7 feet. If you are looking at purchasing a board or SUP over 7 feet please contact us first as the charges used to be a great flat rate of $55 depot to depot NOrth Island or $85 South Island up until late 2020. But this has changed significantly and surfboards are now measured and can cost a lot to freight. Due to recent extra charging by our freight company we now have to add an additional surcharge for purchases under $100 that are being delivered to rural delivery addresses. All of our OWN BRAND items are available to be shipped outside of NZ (eg Gizzy Hard clothing, East Coast Local clothing and Blitz Surf Shop clothing), please contact us for rates. These will be sent by non-tracked international airmail. If you wish this to be tracked please contact us and we will advise you of the costs. Unfortunately at this stage we are unable to ship products from most of our other suppliers outside of New Zealand. Please do not be offended if we refuse to do so. All purchases will be charged in NZD and this is reflected in the pricing which is also in NZD. All goods purchased online will be shipped within 2 working days on receipt of payment via overnight courier. Surfboards will be carefully packed but will be shipped at the receiver's risk and therefore you may want to take insurance for the carriage of your new surfboard. We will make our best efforts to have your purchases to you in the quickest possible time as customer satisfaction is very important to us. We ship with Aramex (formerly Fastway) couriers within NZ and all items apart from surfboards are covered by them up to a value of $1500 for your peace of mind.
Please note all Sale purchases are final and cannot be exchanged or returned. Swimwear cannot be exchanged and is a final sale however we will meet our obligations under the Consumers Guarantee Act where product is faulty.
10 DAY INTERNET RETURN POLICY
We understand that internet shopping is a bit different to traditional retail and that you may not have had a chance to check out the product in real life or try it on. So we are giving you the chance to return your product, in perfect unused saleable condition within 10 days of receiving it. This will give you peace of mind when purchasing online from Blitz Surf Shop that if the product does not suit you then you can return it to us. This applies to full priced products only and does not apply to sale products. So if you are not satisfied with your item once received, you may contact us first and then return it for a full refund of the original purchase price provided the goods are in re-sellable condition, unused, with your original receipt and with all original tags still attached. The condition of the product will be at our discretion and will need to be checked by us, then the refund will be made to you once we are satisfied that we can still sell this new item. We reserve the right to refuse any item that we consider is unable to be resold. If there is any sign that the item has been used then a refund will not be given. Shipping costs will be at the customer's expense and will not be refunded. If you prefer instead of a full refund we can give you a store credit, another size, or send you another product to the same value.
Almost all of the product we sell comes with some sort of warranty. Lengths of warranty will differ depending on the product and supplier. Items such as sunglasses and wetsuits come with at least a 1 year limited warranty, sometimes longer. You MUST retain proof of purchase of your product to have a valid warranty. This is up to you. Original receipt that we send is the most ideal form of proof of purchase. You should keep any receipts that you have from us in a safe place. Sometimes bank card records will suffice. If a product is faulty on receipt of it, please contact us first before sending it back.

Refunds: Please choose products carefully. If you deem an item is unsuitable for a particular reason please contact us first upon receipt of the goods with an explanation of the problem. We need to authorise your return. Please use a tracked postage service when returning goods to us, if the item does not reach us, it is not our responsibility. On very rare occasions an item may not be available for purchase in which case we will try and secure the same item for you from our suppliers or offer a full refund.
